Pankaj P. Shah

Vice President, Chief Information and Digital Officer, Hyster-Yale Materials Handling
Mr. Shah became Vice President, Chief Information and Digital Officer of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling on June 1, 2024. He oversees the operations, development and execution of the company's technology and digital transformation strategies. Mr. Shah is responsible for delivering the global IT roadmap while continuing to modernize the technology stack with selected strategic partners. Additionally, Mr. Shah leads the development and execution of all global digital transformation initiatives to enhance the experience for the company’s customers, dealers, suppliers and its employees. In addition, he’s focused on continuing to strengthen the company's cybersecurity infrastructure.
Since joining Hyster-Yale in August 2004, Mr. Shah has held various leadership positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he served as the Chief Digital Officer at Hyster-Yale Materials Handling since October 2021. His other roles include leading the Global Digital Platforms team from 2018 to 2021, spearheading the Global Aftermarket and Warehouse strategy from 2015 to 2018, serving as the Global Business Process Excellence Leader from 2013 to 2017, managing Global Pricing from 2008 to 2015, and overseeing Aftermarket Program Development from 2004 to 2007.
Mr. Shah began his career as a Systems Program Developer at Wipro Systems Limited, Bangalore, India, before moving to the United States to pursue his master's degree. His U.S. career started as a Senior Programmer at Cerner Corporation, followed by a consultancy role at Empower Trainers and Consultants. Mr. Shah then joined TVH (SMH) as IT Manager. Mr. Shah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from M.S. Ramiah Institute of Technology in Bangalore, India, and a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS.
