Lucien M. J. Robroek

President, Global Big Trucks, Hyster-Yale Materials Handling

On September 1, 2025, Mr. Robroek was appointed to the position of President, Global Big Trucks, with responsibly for the development, manufacturing and sales of all Hyster^® and Yale^® lift trucks with lifting capacities over 8 tons, as well as container handlers. Prior to this appointment, he served as President, Global Technology Solutions for Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, where he oversaw the company’s technology-driven, product- and project-based business units including Telemetry, Operator Assist Systems, Automated Lift Truck Solutions, Alternative Motive Power Solutions and Heavy-Vehicle Electrification Solutions. Previously, beginning in 2018, Mr. Robroek served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Hyster-Yale’s subsidiary, Nuvera Fuel Cells. His involvement with Nuvera started in 2015 when he worked as Vice President Global Big Trucks for Hyster-Yale. Before joining the company, Mr. Robroek held leadership positions with international companies spanning product development, manufacturing, marketing and sales of high-end industrial products and services. Mr. Robroek holds MSc and PhD degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology and has completed industrial marketing programs.
