Lucien M. J. Robroek

President, Global Technology Solutions, Hyster-Yale Materials Handling

On May 1, 2024, Mr. Robroek was appointed President, Global Technology Solutions for Hyster-Yale Materials Handling. In this role, Mr. Robroek is responsible for overseeing the company’s technology- driven, product and project-based business units of Telemetry, Operator Assist Systems, Automated Lift Truck Solutions, Alternative Motive Power Solutions and Heavy-Vehicle Electrification Solutions. Prior to that, from 2018, he held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Hyster-Yale’s subsidiary, Nuvera Fuel Cells. His involvement with Nuvera started in 2015 when he worked as Vice President Global Big Trucks for Hyster-Yale Group. In addition to his 12 years with Hyster-Yale, Mr. Robroek has held various leadership roles within other international companies with responsibilities in the fields of product development and manufacturing through marketing and sales of high-end industrial products and services. Mr. Robroek holds MSc and PhD degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology and has completed industrial marketing programs.
