Alfred M. Rankin, Jr.

Executive Chairman of the Board of Hyster-Yale
Chairman, Hyster-Yale Materials Handling

Mr. Rankin became Executive Chairman of the Board of Hyster-Yale, Inc. in May 2023. Previously, from February 2021, Mr. Rankin was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hyster-Yale. Prior to that, since September 2012 when Hyster-Yale was spun-off as an independent company by NACCO Industries, Inc., Mr. Rankin was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hyster-Yale. He joined NACCO as President and Chief Operating Officer in April 1989, became President and Chief Executive Officer in May 1991, and became Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer in May of 1994. In September 2017, he retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of NACCO when NACCO spun-off its housewares-related businesses as Hamilton Beach Brands Holding Company and became Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of NACCO. In October 2017, Mr. Rankin became Executive Chairman of the Board of Hamilton Beach Brands Holding Company. On January 1, 2019 he became Non-Executive Chairman. Prior to joining NACCO, he was Vice Chairman, Chief Operating Officer, and a Director of Eaton Corporation, a position he had held since April 1986. Prior to that, he had served successively as President of Eaton's Materials Handling and Industrial Groups, and Executive Vice President - Operations. Prior to his fifteen years at Eaton, Mr. Rankin worked for McKinsey and Company, a management consulting firm.

Mr. Rankin received a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in Economics and a Juris Doctor degree from Yale University. Mr. Rankin is a director of Hyster-Yale, Inc., NACCO Industries, Inc., Hamilton Beach Brands Holding Company and the National Association of Manufacturers. He is a trustee of the Musical Arts Association, a former trustee and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals of Cleveland, and former trustee and Chair Emeritus of the Cleveland Museum of Art. He is a former lead director of The Vanguard Group and Goodrich Corporation. He is a former director of the Standard Products Company and Reliance Electric Company, and a former director and Chairman of the Board of the Fourth District Federal Reserve Bank. He is trustee emeritus of Case Western Reserve University, former Chairperson of The Cleveland Foundation, and former trustee and President of the Board of Trustees of Hathaway Brown School. He is also a former trustee of Oberlin College, the Holden Arboretum, and the World Resources Institute.

Rajiv K. Prasad

Rajiv K. Prasad became President and Chief Executive Officer of Hyster-Yale, Inc. in May 2023. As CEO, he leads the Company’s operating and strategy activities. Previously, in February 2021, Mr. Prasad became President of Hyster-Yale. As President, Mr. Prasad has executive oversight responsibilities for the Company’s subsidiaries which includes the attachment business, Bolzoni, S.p.A., the fuel cell business, Nuvera Fuel Cells, LLC and Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, the forklift truck business. He also holds the position of President and CEO of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling where Mr. Prasad is charged with providing the strategic vision, global leadership and guide executions that keep Hyster-Yale Materials Handling moving forward to achieve its business and financial goals.

Mr. Prasad’s prior position at Hyster-Yale Group was Chief Product and Operations Officer where he guided all aspects of product development, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and IT. Mr. Prasad joined NMHG in 2007 where he led developments that included introduction of the new Global/Product Platforms. In 1986, Mr. Prasad began his career in product development with Ford Motor Company. In 1999, he joined Lear Corporation, taking on positions with greater responsibility, before moving to International Truck and Engine Corporation where he served as Vice President of Global Product Development. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Advanced Vehicle Concepts from Loughborough University, in Leicestershire, UK.

Gregory J. Breier

Vice President, Chief Tax Officer

Mr. Breier is Vice President, Chief Tax Officer of Hyster-Yale with responsibility for overseeing the Company’s global tax function. Prior to 2024, Mr. Breier was Vice President, Tax of Hyster-Yale and he continues to serve as Vice President, Tax of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling. Mr. Breier’s responsibilities include oversight of the Company's global tax compliance, tax risk management and tax strategy. He previously served as Director of Tax at NACCO Industries from 2001 and prior to that he held various other tax related roles at NACCO Industries from 1994. Prior to joining NACCO Industries, Mr. Breier held positions in both industry and public accounting. Mr. Breier received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University and a Masters of Taxation from the University of Akron. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio.

Dena R. McKee

Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer

Ms. McKee is Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Hyster-Yale and oversees accounting, financial reporting, and controls. Previously, she served as Senior Director, Corporate Controller of Resideo Technologies, Inc, SVP, Corporate Controller of Cornerstone Building Brands and Assistant Controller of TimkenSteel Corp. Prior to these positions, Ms. McKee also held various accounting leadership roles at FirstEnergy Corporation and was a senior auditor at Ernst and Young LLP. Ms. McKee received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Mount Union University in 1994. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio. Ms. McKee is a member of Financial Executives International and The Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation – Financial Council.

Scott Minder

Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer

Mr. Minder is Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Hyster-Yale, Inc. Mr. Minder oversees public financial reporting, accounting, tax compliance and strategies, treasury activities and investor relations at Hyster-Yale. Most recently, Mr. Minder served as Vice President – Treasurer and Investor Relations of ATI Inc. since June 2018, having previously served as Vice President, Investor Relations since joining ATI in June 2017. Previously, he worked for PPG Industries from 2009 to 2017 in various financial roles, including Director, Investor Relations, Global Business Controller – Industrial Coatings and Packaging Coatings and CFO-Automotive OEM Coatings. Prior to joining PPG Industries, Mr. Minder was CFO for the Automotive Division and Director, Global Quality at Penske Logistics. Mr. Minder also had a distinguished 11-year career with General Motors that spanned several positions of increasing responsibility within the finance function, including roles in manufacturing, marketing, process risk management, culminating in investor relations. He has a B.S. in Management from Kettering University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.

Anthony J. Salgado

Chief Operating Officer, Hyster-Yale Materials Handling

Mr. Salgado became Chief Operating Officer of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling in July 2019 and is responsible for performance of the company’s global lift truck business operations and interests across the Americas, EMEA, Asia-Pacific, India, China, and Japan. Mr. Salgado has over 20 years of experience in the materials handling industry, most recently as Senior Vice President, Japan, Asia-Pacific, India and China for Hyster-Yale Group since 2016. Prior to joining the group, Mr. Salgado held the role of Vice President and Corporate Officer of UniCarriers Corporation (formerly Nissan Forklift), and President of the Americas Division. During his 15 years with UniCarriers/Nissan, his experience also included leadership roles in quality, manufacturing, and aftermarket operations, including the role of Vice President, manufacturing operations. During this time, Mr. Salgado was also a member of the Industrial Truck Association Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Additionally, Mr. Salgado previously held positions with GE Appliances and GE Capital in Six Sigma and Quality leadership roles, as well as served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, completing tours as a Surface Warfare Officer aboard the USS Fort McHenry and as the Executive Officer of the US Navy Ceremonial Guard in Washington, DC. Mr. Salgado holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

Suzanne S. Taylor

Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Ms. Taylor is the chief legal officer of Hyster-Yale and its subsidiaries, with global responsibility for all legal, corporate and ethics compliance, corporate secretarial, compensation and benefits activities. She has held this position since May 2016. Previously, Ms. Taylor was Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. and Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. Preceding these positions, Ms. Taylor was Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of both Hyster-Yale Group and NACCO Industries, positions she had held since May 2012 and December 2008, respectively. Prior to joining NACCO Industries, she was Vice President and General Counsel of Keithley Instruments, Inc., a manufacturer of electrical test measurement equipment located in Solon, Ohio, a position she held since April 2007. From January 2006 until March 2007, she was Assistant General Counsel of Platinum Equity, LLC a private equity company. From March 2003 until November 2005, she was Senior Vice President, General Counsel of SourceOne Healthcare Technologies, Inc., a Platinum Equity company, a distributor of radiology-related products and supplies. From February 1994 to March 2003, Ms. Taylor held various positions of increasing responsibility at several Cleveland area companies. From August 1989 to February 1994 she practiced law with the law firm of Jones Day in Cleveland.

Ms. Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College in Pyschology and a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law. Stewart D. Murdoch

Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Europe, Middle East and Africa

Mr. Murdoch joined Hyster-Yale Materials Handling in September 2020 and became Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Europe, Middle East and Africa in October 2020. In this role, Mr. Murdoch oversees all sales, marketing, manufacturing, finance and pricing functions for the Hyster® and Yale® product lines, as well as their extensive distribution network. In addition, his responsibilities include all Hyster-Yale Materials Handling products and lift truck services, financial services, major accounts and dealer relations for EMEA.

With over 25 years experience in the global markets of bulk material handling and industrial process automation (including capital equipment, systems integration, process solutions and aftermarket services), prior to joining Hyster-Yale, Mr. Murdoch held Executive Management and operational leadership positions in mainland Europe and the United Kingdom as Vice President of the Schenck Process Group, Germany and UK Managing Director / GM and Head of EMEA North & Australasia for the Habasit Group, Switzerland.

A Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, with a profound background in Engineering, Business Administration, M&A, and Strategic Corporate Development, Mr. Murdoch holds a BSc in Civil Engineering and MSc in Bulk Solids Handling Technology from Glasgow Caledonian University, UK and an MBA from the OUBS, UK.

Charles F. Pascarelli

Senior Vice President, President, Americas

Mr. Pascarelli is the Senior Vice President and President, Americas for Hyster-Yale Materials Handling. In this role, Mr. Pascarelli oversees all sales, marketing, manufacturing, finance, and pricing functions for the Hyster® and Yale® lines of products, as well as their extensive distribution network. In addition, his responsibilities include all Hyster-Yale Materials Handling products and lift truck services, financial services, fleet management, national accounts and dealer relations for the Americas. Mr. Pascarelli also serves on the Board of Wells Fargo Financial Services; an instrumental partner to Hyster-Yale Materials Handling. Mr. Pascarelli also serves as the Board Chairman for the United Way of Pitt County, NC, and serves as a Board Member for the Raleigh, NC, chapter of Make-A-Wish foundation. Prior to joining the company, he successfully functioned as the President of Sales and Marketing for The Raymond Corporation. During this time, he also served as Chairman of the Board for numerous dealer partners, and as a Board Member at Binghamton University, School of Management. Previous to The Raymond Corporation, Mr. Pascarelli was employed by Fuji Film, Co, Ltd., as Vice President and General Manager, where he was accountable for distribution, sales and marketing and services for the company in the Americas, and all Pacific Rim Countries. His career has led him to possess nearly three decades of sales, marketing, distribution, and manufacturing leadership experience in the materials handling, capital goods, consumables and electronics industries. Mr. Pascarelli holds B.S. and master’s degrees from Northeastern University, and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Lucien M. J. Robroek

President, Global Technology Solutions

On May 1, 2024, Mr. Robroek was appointed President, Global Technology Solutions for Hyster-Yale. In this role, Mr. Robroek is responsible for overseeing the company’s technology-driven, product and project-based business units of Telemetry, Operator Assist Systems, Automated Lift Truck Solutions, Alternative Motive Power Solutions, and Heavy-Vehicle Electrification Solutions. Prior to that, from 2018, he held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Hyster-Yale’s subsidiary Nuvera Fuel Cells. His involvement with Nuvera started in 2015 when he worked as Vice President Global Big Trucks for Hyster-Yale Group. In addition to his 12 years with Hyster-Yale, Mr. Robroek has held various leadership roles within other international companies with responsibilities in the fields of product development and manufacturing through marketing and sales of high-end industrial products and services. Mr. Robroek holds MSc and PhD degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology and has completed industrial marketing programs.

Matheus de C. Thaumaturgo

President, APIC

Mr. Thaumaturgo is President, APIC for Hyster-Yale Materials Handling. In this role, Mr. Thaumaturgo oversees all sales, marketing, finance, and pricing functions for the Hyster® and Yale® lines of products, as well as their extensive distribution network. In addition, his responsibilities include all Hyster-Yale Materials Handling products and lift truck services, financial services, fleet management, major accounts and dealer relations for the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Thaumaturgo has over 11 years of experience in the material handling industry, with over 15 years at leadership levels, including as Vice President, President Asia-Pacific and six years as Managing Director for Hyster-Yale in Brazil. Prior to joining the group, Mr. Thaumaturgo served in leadership positions in the legal department of multinational companies such as Sun Chemical and Cognis. Mr. Thaumaturgo holds a JD in Law from the University of Taubaté in Brazil.

Michele Corini

Vice President, Global Operations

Mr. Corini is responsible for global manufacturing strategy and deployment, quality, processes, manufacturing engineering and innovation. He has the primary responsibility for the leadership and development of the strategic footprint, product placement, new product options and decision making for our manufacturing sites company wide.

Mr. Corini relocated to Portland, Oregon from Bergamo, Italy in 2014 to accept the position of Vice President, Engineering at our Counterbalance Development Center. He held this position until promotion to his current role in 2018. Prior to his move Mr. Corini was the Plant Manager of HYG’s Masate Plant in Masate, Italy. Other experience includes various manufacturing leadership and management positions in HYG’s Modena Plant in Modena, Italy.

Mr. Corini received a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering for the Polytechnic of Milan, Italy.

Tracy S. Hixson

Vice President, Global Supply Chain

Mr. Hixson is Vice President, Global Supply Chain for Hyster-Yale Materials Handling and is responsible for all supply chain operations, new product procurement, logistics, demand planning and category management. Mr. Hixson has held various supply chain roles of increased responsibility at Hyster-Yale since he began his career in 2007. Previously, he served as Senior Director, Category Management & Supply Chain Intelligence. Prior to his tenure at Hyster-Yale, Mr. Hixson held leadership positions in supply chain, operations and quality at several respected fortune 500 companies including Maytag and Brunswick Corporation with successful careers in the Marine and Major Appliance Industries. He has 31 years of Supply Chain experience in international sourcing, procurement and category management. Mr. Hixson holds a BA in Economics for the University of Tennessee and a Masters in Organization Management from Tusculum College.

Brian A. Jennings

Vice President, Associate General Counsel – Americas, CBDC, APIC

Mr. Jennings is Vice President, Associate General Counsel, with responsibility for legal activities in the Americas and APIC theaters. Prior to joining Hyster-Yale in 2018, Mr. Jennings was engaged in the private practice of law for two decades, primarily with Perkins Coie LLP in Seattle, Washington, and Portland, Oregon. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Gopi Somayajula

Senior Vice President, Global Product Development

As Senior Vice President, Global Product Development, Mr. Somayajula has global responsibility for all aspects of Hyster-Yale Material Handling's product development including product strategy, design, engineering, research and development, and technology innovations such as Electrification, Fuel Cells, and Automation to deliver the right trucks at the right price with the lowest cost of ownership while enhancing productivity for our customers. Drives industry and customer-focused solutions to meet their evolving needs, and continuous improvement to new product introduction (NPI) process and talent development to enhance speed to market and innovation culture. His career in product development began in 1983 with major corporations: International Truck and Engine Corporation, Ford Motor Company and Case New Holland Corporation. Mr. Somayajula joined Hyster-Yale Group in 2001 as Vice President, Counterbalanced Engineering. He holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.

Jon C. Taylor

Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Taylor became Vice President, Chief Financial Officer in February 2022. In his role, he oversees Hyster-Yale Material Handling’s Financial Planning and Analysis Group, as well as the Product Development and Procurement Financial Analysis Group. Previously, Mr. Taylor was Vice President Finance, Lift Trucks and will continue his current responsibilities for global lift truck finance strategy, processes, performance, and continuous improvement. Prior to June 2020, Mr. Taylor was President of Nuvera Fuel Cells from April 2015, Interim CEO of Nuvera from December 2014, and Vice President, Business Development and Financial Planning and Analysis from September 2014. Prior to September 2014, he served as Director Corporate Strategy, Financial Planning and Analysis since 2008. Mr. Taylor also serves on the Board of Directors for the Company’s joint venture in Japan, Sumitomo-NACCO Material Handling Group. From 1993 to 2008, Mr. Taylor served in various accounting, finance and marketing roles at Hyster-Yale Group in both the Corporate and European Headquarters. Mr. Taylor has a B.S. in Business Finance from the University of Utah and an MBA in International Business from the University of Washington. He also completed international study programs at Cambridge University and the Cranfield Institute of Technology in the U.K. He has represented Hyster-Yale on the Industry Trade Advisory Committee for Automotive Equipment and Capital Goods, and is a former member of the Pacific Northwest International Trade Association. Jon is a volunteer for The Winchester Committee for a Better Chance serving as Treasurer and Board Member.

Bolzoni:

Roberto Scotti

Presidente/Chairman

Roberto Scotti obtained his high school diploma in mechanical engineering in 1970. From 1970 to 1973 he attended the faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Milan. From 1973 to 1979 Mr. Scotti was Sales Manager for Bolzoni. In 1980 he left Bolzoni and founded Teko S.r.l., a company manufacturing lifting tables and hand pallet trucks (later merged into Bolzoni) of which he was C.E.O. until 1987. After this merger, Mr. Scotti became C.E.O. of Bolzoni and held the position of C.E.O. of Bolzoni and many other companies of the Bolzoni Group. He has been the promoter of the great expansion of the group worldwide and the acquisition of the important group brands. After the acquisition by Hyster-Yale in 2016, he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Bolzoni S.p.A. On July 1, 2024, Mr. Scotti took on the new role of Presidente/Chairman of Bolzoni.

Marco Rossi

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Rossi was appointed CEO of Bolzoni on July 1, 2024. As CEO, Mr. Rossi defines the company's vision, mission and long-term objectives and is responsible for the company's financial and operational performance driving the company toward sustainable growth and increasing profitability.

Mr. Rossi has over 25 years of experience gained in multinational contexts in various industries and has held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing, finance and operations. After working as a marketing analyst at IBM EMEA, from 1998 to 2001, Mr. Rossi held the position of Finance Director at the Crown Cork and Seal Company Group and then became a plant controller with the current Guala Closures Group, both multinational leaders in the flexible packaging and closures industry. In 2001, Mr. Rossi joined the Bolzoni Group as Group Controller, participating in the main M&A transactions and operational projects. In 2006, Mr. Rossi became the Investor Relator and Internal Auditor and contributed to the listing of the Bolzoni Group, assisted by leading Italian banks and by the consultancy firm Bain & Company. The Bolzoni IPO was awarded best IPO of the year at Milan Stock Exchange by Intesa bank. From 2012 to 2018, Mr. Rossi held the role of Group Chief Financial Officer in a leading company in the wood design industry. In January 2019 Mr. Rossi was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Bolzoni Group and in this role he was responsible for the development and implementation of global strategy and the performance of the Group.

Mr. Rossi has a Master's degree in Business and Administration and a second degree in Political Science with a specialization in marketing, both achieved at University of Parma, Italy.

Marco Bisagni

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Bisagni has over 35 years of professional experience at Bolzoni where he has held positions of increasing responsibility in finance and controlling. As Global Chief Financial Officer of the Bolzoni Group, Mr. Bisagni is responsible of all finance, tax and controlling activities; he is also responsible for the Bolzoni SpA financial statements as well as of the Bolzoni Group consolidated statements.

After completing the High School diploma of Expert Accountant, Mr. Bisagni began his experience at Bolzoni as Finance Manager and few years later he became Finance Director. In 1993, he moved to the position of Chief Financial Officer of Bolzoni SpA and in 2001 was appointed Bolzoni Group Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Bisagni made an important contribution to the internationalization of the Bolzoni Group in the 1990s by participating in the establishment of various foreign companies. In the following decade, he played a primary role in the acquisition of the Auramo and Meyer companies and in the listing of the Bolzoni Group on the Milan Stock Exchange. The listing was awarded as best IPO of the year in 2006 by Intesa Bank.

Vincenzo Gatto

President, APIC

In September 2015, Mr. Gatto joined the Bolzoni Group as General Manager of the Hebei, China plant. Prior to joining the Bolzoni Group, Mr. Gatto had a distinguished career spanning many positions of increasing responsibility within the manufacturing sector.

In July 2023, Mr. Gatto was appointed as the President of APIC of Bolzoni Group, responsible for production and sales in the Chinese market, management of the Australian branch, and sales business in the Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Gatto holds a Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from La Sapienza University, Rome. Mr. Gatto also has a significant background and training in Lean Production Methods.

Jon Riley

President, Americas

Mr. Riley became President of Bolzoni Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of forklift attachments and accessories in 2019. Jon is a seasoned business executive with over 20 years of experience in the materials handling industry and is responsible for performance of the company’s attachment business interests across North, Central and South America.

Jon started his career in engineering with Hyster-Yale after obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University. He then held various senior management positions in sales, marketing, and operations in the materials handling industry. Jon has a proven track record of driving business growth, developing competitive operations, and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies.

Jon is a results-oriented leader who is passionate about delivering value to customers and building strong relationships with partners and stakeholders. Jon serves on the Workforce Innovation and Operations Board and has been recognized as a leader in transformation of workplace culture.

Emanuele Scotti

President, EMEA

In September 2004, Mr. Scotti joined the Bolzoni Group. In 2011, he became the General Manager and Legal Representative of Bolzoni Auramo (Wuxi) Forklift Truck Attachment Co., Ltd, initiated new factory investment, responsible for all company operations. During years of working, Mr. Scotti increased the company's share in the Asia Pacific market, and established a research and development department in the Wuxi factory, achieving the localization of main products to better and faster meet market demand.

In 2020, Mr. Scotti was appointed as the President of APIC of Bolzoni Group, responsible for production and sales in the Chinese market, management of the Australian branch, and sales business in the Asia Pacific region.

In July 2023, Mr. Scotti was appointed as the President of EMEA.

Mr. Scotti holds a Master degree of Engineering from Milan Politecnico University. In 2010, he got Six Sigma Training Black Belt. Mr. Scotti is a passionate, motivated, adaptable, and responsible leader with excellent communication skills and experience working with a variety of people in multinational corporations.

Nuvera:

David M. LeBlanc

President and Chief Executive Officer

In May 2024, Mr. LeBlanc was appointed to the role of President and CEO for Nuvera Fuel Cells, where he leads its development and growth. Prior to his current role, he led Hyster-Yale’s Global Technology Solutions Division, which houses the company’s technology-driven, product and project-based business units of Telemetry, Operator Assist Systems, Automated Lift Truck Solutions, and Heavy Vehicle Electrification Solutions.

Mr. LeBlanc joined Hyster-Yale in 2018 as VP Strategy, Planning, & Business Development where he oversaw the company’s Corporate F,P,&A, Strategic Planning, and M&A activities. Prior to joining Hyster-Yale, Mr. LeBlanc held a number of leadership roles in industrial companies, most recently with Valmont Industries where he served as Group President of its International Engineered Support Structures division, after an expansive career at Lincoln Electric where he held the Regional President roles of Latin America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Harvard University.

Ralph Clague

Chief Development Officer

Ralph is responsible for Nuvera’s product and technology innovation roadmap that is responsive to market trends and customer needs. He focuses on making comprehensive technical support available to customers globally, so that Nuvera remains a leading fuel cell engine and stack provider. Ralph has a solid track record of delivering innovative vehicle and stationary power systems projects at many levels of maturity, from research to pre-production. He served most recently as Head of Hydrogen and Fuel Cells at Jaguar Land Rover, UK and Director of Fuel Cell Development at Great Wall Motors, China. Ralph has BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees from Imperial College London, where he is currently an Honorary Research Fellow.

Neil Gillen

Chief Operations Officer

Neil Gillen oversees Nuvera’s operations, and is responsible for manufacturing, supply chain, ramping up and deployment the company’s fuel cell stack and engine production strategy and capabilities. Neil also leads Nuvera’s EHS, quality and facilities groups. Prior to joining Nuvera, Neil worked at Doble Engineering company a manufacturer of high technology instruments and a service provider for the electric power generation industry. Prior to joining Hyster-Yale, Neil has held the roles of Senior Vice President and COO of a Global solar panel racking manufacturer and other senior leadership roles in the semiconductor industry. Neil has a BS in Operations and Finance with a minor in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in International Operations.

Kedar Murthy

Chief Commercial Officer

In September 2021, Mr. Kedar Murthy became Chief Commercial Officer of Nuvera Fuel Cells overseeing the commercialization, distribution and aftermarket service of Nuvera’s cost-effective fuel cell solutions for commercial and industrial mobility applications. Mr. Murthy’s career has spanned large companies, private equity and startups. He gained experience at General Electric and Cabot Corp. At General Electric, Mr. Murthy was recognized as “Marketing Person of the Year” and spent time on corporate audit staff earning his six-sigma black belt. At Cabot his experience included leadership roles in corporate strategy, manufacturing and Mr. Murthy was Global Sales Director for all customer facing groups including sales, marketing, technical service and the website. After working at large enterprises, he became Executive Vice President of the Global OEM business at private equity backed GPX International leading a global tire business which was subsequently acquired. Later Mr. Murthy joined start-up Lehigh Technologies Inc., a venture capital funded specialty materials company as Vice President and General Manager, building and globalizing this business before it was acquired by Michelin. Mr. Murthy has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and an MS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Murthy is on the advisory board of Silpara Technologies, the co-chair of Boston Latin School Association, and President of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technologies Alumni Association.

Darwin Scussel

Chief Financial Officer

Darwin Scussel oversees finance, information technology (IT), human resources and legal functions at Nuvera. Darwin previously worked as the financial and IT director at Hyster-Yale Brasil Empilhadeiras Ltda, where he played a key role in moving operations to new manufacturing facilities, beginning manufacture of new products, opening new offices, and implementing SAP. Prior to Hyster-Yale, Darwin worked at Whirlpool SA for five years. There, he held roles as Latin America financial planning senior manager and business unit controller, with responsibilities such as strategic target definitions, regional financial consolidation, new product business cases, and local and global senior leadership support. He also has finance and business experience from roles at Alcoa, Deloitte and Arthur Andersen. Darwin brings his Hyster-Yale insight, as well as extensive knowledge in accounting, finance, planning, people and processes in support of Nuvera’s continued growth.
